DESTRUCTION
As time goes by boats die
because
of getting old.
Apart from these natural dead
the main problem is that wooden boats have been, in the last ten years,
destroyed in a big scale.
The reasons for this are the EC
laws for reducing and renewing
the fishing boats fleet.
For this politic some funds are
given for the fishermen boat
owners: one
to stop being a fishermen and destroy the boat, other to make a new boat
and destroy the old one.
Only for boats over 25 ton
the destruction is not a duty.
