ABOUT THE BOATS
Wooden boats, as a part of the
coast culture,
should be seen in their
own environment in connection with the past and the
present.
Creating activities with them and
around them is one way of making
them and the coast culture alive.
Portugal is now, still in the phase
of throwing away parts of it
own culture as wooden
boats.
The exchanging of ideas, projects, activities and experiences
would be the first step for promoting
a creative attitude toward
this
problem.
A start for developing the interest
in boats preservation.
